Blue-Green Algae Information

Algae blooms of concern must be reported IMMEDIATELY. Even 2 days of wind or rain can change the results of any testing. The DNR and Health Department will respond immediately to any issue that is reported. This was an area of concern which was brought up by members during our member meeting on March 22, 2011. Runoff Management Information

There are programs in place to help farmers and home owners manage runoff. Additionally, the Association must work with the city to ensure snow is piled away from areas that could harm Lake Wausau. It appears snow is currently being dumped into the River by Eastbay which is a project for our Zoning and Pollution Committee to address.
